Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Name two differences between serving the Spanish-speaking grieving community and the English-speaking grieving community.
  2. Identify 2-3 practices to overcome barriers of outreaching to Latino grieving communities.
  3. Describe common barriers that underserved populations face in accessing grief support services and analyze their impact on health equity and patient-centered care.
  4. Apply culturally responsive strategies to design and facilitate grief support groups that are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the values of diverse communities.
