Hospice Foundation of America has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with TGBeyond, producer of the award-winning documentary, A Butterfly Has Been Released, to offer a continuing education (CE) course for healthcare professionals and community-focused organizations.

From Caregiver to Patient: Nurse Allyson’s Final 39 Days includes a screening of A Butterfly Has Been Released followed by a conversation with Kenneth J. Doka, PhD, MDiv; Natasha Fowlks, RN; and Megan Heller, LCSW. Emmy-award winning journalist Frank Sesno moderates the discussion.

Viewing Options:

Individual license – on-demand viewing and one CE hour for one person

Group license – group viewing for staff training, an in-person community event, or an event that brings the public and healthcare professionals together for an important discussion about death and dying. An event guide to help with organizing the event and continuing education (1 CE hour) for up to 25 viewers is included. For larger groups, additional CEs are available for $10 per learner.
