Lisa Wasson is the Community Nurse Educator with HopeHealth. As the recipient of the Providence Business News Healthcare Heroes Educator of the Year Award she draws on her experience as a certified hospice and palliative care nurse to develop educational presentations for new and existing clinicians of all disciplines. She brings her expertise from 25 years in healthcare, first in occupational therapy, then infectious disease acute care nursing and finally hospice and palliative care to each class, conference or panel discussion. She is passionate about providing comfort to all who are at end-of-life and does so by teaching their bedside clinicians the best practices for end-of-life care.
