Jenny Rivera-Cruz, LCSW

Jenny Rivera-Cruz is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples, and teens. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Children and Families. Her professional journey reflects a deep passion for empowering individuals to uncover their inner strengths, heal from trauma, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

Currently serving at Our House Grief Support Center, Jenny offers compassionate support to those navigating the pain of loss. Prior to this role, she worked as a Mental Health Lead-Wellness Coordinator for a DMH-funded Latino mental health program, where she designed and facilitated original wellness curricula that honored the cultural strengths and specific needs of the Latino community. For over 10 years, she led quarterly group therapy sessions focused on building communication and social skills, fostering self-awareness, and reducing stigma through shared lived experience.
