Many families choose to designate Hospice Foundation of America as the recipient of donations in memory of their loved one. This is typically done in an online or printed obituary and included in a funeral or memorial service program.
Donors receive an acknowledgement of their contribution and, if requested, the family will be notified of the donor and/or the gift amount. Donation notifications can be mailed via USPS or emailed.

Designating Hospice Foundation of America as the recipient of your memorial donations can give you peace of mind that your loved one’s memory is helping others understand hospice and receive hospice care when they need it. Importantly, your donor information is protected. Hospice Foundation of America does not sell, rent, or distribute donor names except to family members, at the direction of the donor. In addition, we do not solicit donors with follow-up requests for donations.
