Marcia Lattanzi Licht is a psychotherapist and educator. An early voice for hospice care, she was co-founder of Boulder Hospice (now TRU Community Care), CO, where she did pioneering work in grief services and education. She is the principal author of The Hospice Choice and co-editor with Kenneth Doka of Coping with Public Tragedy. For her work with crime victims, Lattanzi Licht was awarded the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office Distinguished Service Award. She is a recipient of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Heart of Hospice award and the Association for Death and Counseling’s Educator Award.
