Mansara Hassan is a geriatric nurse practitioner. She is committed to advancing the field of hospice and palliative care by advocating for compassionate, patient-centered approaches, and mentorship. She has been involved in national initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion within the hospice and palliative nursing profession. Hassan is a board director for the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association and Foundation. Her leadership and contributions to the field have been recognized with the 2022 Emerging Leader Award and the 2023 Nessa Coyle Leadership Lectureship.
