Jeffrey Boon is a registered nurse and board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He is a Postdoctoral Scholar at The Ohio State University College of Nursing where he conducts research on pain in people living with dementia as well as family caregiving networks in dementia related to pain in both the person with dementia and the family caregiver. In addition to clinical pain research, Dr. Boon is interested in ethical issues relating to epistemic injustice in pain management and dementia care.
