Meet Amy Liebman Rapp Amy's husband Sidney died from Hodgkin's lymphoma in 1991 when her son, Alex, was just eight. Struggling to find resources and support for her son, Amy went on to study to become a grief counselor. She founded Alex Cares for Grieving Youth in 2016. Alex Cares supports grieving children from underserved communities across the country.

Meet Tom Mitchell Tom's daughter Shayla was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 16. As her primary care giver and a single parent, Tom sometimes struggled with the everyday challenges of Shayla's illness. After her death, Tom made good on a promise to give back to those who helped them and support other families in need. Tom founded StillBrave Childhood Cancer Foundation, which provides non-medical support to families with children facing cancer.
Meet Natalie Ford Natalie was 24 and five months pregnant with her first child when her husband, Josh, died in a tragic accident. Natalie went on to complete an Olympic-distance triathlon a year after his death. Journaling was an important way of coping and she published the New York Times bestseller, Signs of Life in 2011.
Meet Brett Bramble Brett's sister Brittany lost her battle with opioid addiction in 2014. As Brett struggled with the shocking loss, he found comfort and support in sharing his story and serving others. Brett decided to honor Brittany with a walk across the country. Raising money to support those stuggling with addiction and life's challenges, Brett formed Freedom to Grow in 2017. Brett is currently walking again, from Key West to Maine.
