Jill A. Harrington-LaMorie, DSW, LCSW

Jill Harrington-LaMorie is an adjunct professor for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC Campus, and also maintains an active clinical counseling practice. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, American Association of Suicidology, and the Association for Death Education & Counseling (ADEC) where she is also a former Board Member and Conference Committee Chair. Harrington-LaMorie is  a member of HFA’s Autism & Grief Project advisory board. In her career, she has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, created and co-edited a novel textbook exploring modern superhero narratives in teaching thanatology, and was recently recognized as TCSPP-DC Adjunct Professor of the Year (2021) and awarded the ADEC Service Award (2023).
