Rachel Kodanaz is a heart-minded professional specializing in current and relevant approaches in support of individuals and workplaces following a loss or trauma. She is a best-selling author, seasoned keynote speaker, and a business consultant. She began her career serving in management of Fortune 500 companies, overcoming her own adversity following the sudden death of her husband while raising a 2-year-old. She was immediately confronted with the seesaw created when personal and professional trajectories collide. Kodanaz was instrumental in launching HeartLight Grief and Loss Center in Denver, including the development of programs, facilitating support groups, and serving as the Executive Director. She also co-founded the Grief Network Alliance in Denver which provides a networking platform for grief-related professionals. Kodanaz has served on numerous grief-related board of directors including TAPS and Soaring Spirits International.
