Our Thanks
Donors, partners, and funders make it possible for HFA to make a difference.
HFA is a donor-driven organization. We are thankful to all those who, over four decades, have supported our service to the public, our efforts to improve patient and family care through education, and the research that informs best practice. As a charitable organization, we rely on our partners’ support.
Vital information
Financial support makes HFA’s free Ask an Expert service possible, a service for anyone with questions about hospice care, caregiving, or grief, Ask and Expert offers unbiased information to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. No other public charity provides this 365-day-a-year service.
Improved care
Financial support means that HFA can offer low-cost, quality education that improves care and keeps clinicians up to date with best practices. HFA’s world-class speakers address important topics like pain management, care for our nation’s veteran population, and family caregiving.
Research and special projects
Financial support allows HFA to take on meaningful special projects and conduct research that informs policy, clinical practice, and public knowledge. Our focus is on projects and research involving those who have been historically underserved by U.S. health and medical systems.
