Dementia: The Impact of Isolation on Families - Self Study

The COVID-19 pandemic thrust us all into lives of social isolation, but few people have experienced the negative unintended consequences more than persons living with dementia (PLWD) and their families. This program reviews the unique impact that social isolation has on persons with cognitive impairments and the challenges this poses for family members as they care for PLWD either in community or care settings, and discuss strategies to support them.
