This webinar describes the phenomenon of traumatic bereavement, which is created in the aftermath of sudden and traumatic loss. It presents some of the significant empirical research documenting its worrisome sequelae, identifies the types of death giving rise to it, explores the dynamics that create challenges and complications for the mourner, and discusses interventions that effectively assist the survivor. The focus in this webinar is on conceptual mastery and practical intervention.
