How to Obtain a CE Certificate

HFA’s educational programs are approved for continuing education credits by a number of professional boards. Each program's information page includes a Board Approvals list so you can easily see if your board has approved the program. You can view program information pages on each program's webpage and in your account after you purchase the program.


To Obtain Your Certificate:

  1. Go to www.educate.hospicefoundation.org
  2. Log in (if you've previously received a certificate) or create an account (if it's your first certificate)
  3. Enter the program’s CE Code (provided at the end of the program)
  4. Enter your Site ID#, if applicable. The site ID# is the invoice number on the receipt of your program purchase, which was emailed to you. If you purchase a program after 5pm ET on Friday or on a holiday, your Site ID will be activated the next business day.
  5. Choose your board and complete the program’s evaluation and exam
  6. Pay for your certificate or enter a discount code if your organization gave you one (programs that offer complimentary CEs do not require a discount code)
  7. Print your certificate (a copy remains in your account, providing you access to it any time)
