Brightree Recognized for Donation to Hospice Foundation of America

WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 – Hospice Foundation of American (HFA) recognized Brightree today for its support of the organization’s work to provide education and awareness to the hospice community, healthcare professionals, and the public.

Brightree, the leading provider of cloud-based software to improve clinical and business performance of post-acute care companies, made financial contributions to support three national nonprofit organizations whose missions further the development and accessibility of medical equipment and supplies, and provide education materials and resources for patients, people with disabilities, caregivers and other health professionals. HFA was a recipient of their generosity.

“We hope our donation to the Hospice Foundation of America contributes to its mission to improve care and raise awareness for hospice patients and families, and helping hospice professionals through engagement and education! Thank you for your hard work,” said Matt Mellott, Brightree CEO.

HFA relies heavily on donor gifts from individuals and companies such as Brightree to continue the education, awareness, and community engagement programs it offers. Amy Tucci, HFA president and CEO, said, “This will help Hospice Foundation of America continue to provide valuable services to individuals and families who are in need of information and resources related to hospice care, caregiving, and grief.  We are honored to be recognized by a company that shares not only our deep commitment to improving care for millions of hospice patients and families, but also supporting hospice professionals who provide compassionate care at the bedside.”
