Dr. Doka is the Senior Consultant to the Hospice Foundation of America and a professor at the Graduate School of the College of New Rochelle.  He serves as the Editor of HFA’s bereavement newsletter, Journeys.  Dr. Doka is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Ordained Lutheran Minister, and has served as a panelist on all twenty-one HFA Living with Grief programs. Dr. Doka was recently awarded the Special Contributions Award from the Association of Death Education and Counseling.

Dr. Dale Larson is Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University where he directs graduate studies in health psychology. He is a Fulbright Scholar, a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, and a licensed clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist. Dr. Larson has published extensively on end-of-life issues and is the author of the award-winning book, The Helper's Journey:  Working With People Facing Grief, Loss, and Life-Threatening Illness.
